The work honors classic design, then spins it forward; bolder, more architectural, and deliberately composed. Every piece is curated with a sharp eye for proportion, texture, and form, resulting in florals that feel elevated, intentional, and impossible to overlook.

Founded from a desire to push floristry beyond tradition, Fashionable Florist treats flowers as an art form, one that shapes atmosphere as much as it shapes the space. The goal is never excess for the sake of it, but impact with clarity. The kind of design that commands attention quietly, sets the tone instantly, and leaves a lasting impression before a single detail is consciously noticed.

Meet the Designer

Creative Stylist Behind Fashionable Florist

I’m Heather, the Fashionable Florist. I’m a creative stylist by nature, a detail-oriented by default, and someone who takes pride in doing things thoughtfully rather than perfectly.

Before flowers became my full-time focus, I spent 17 years teaching fifth graders. It turns out that shaping young minds builds a lot of patience, intuition, and problem-solving skills, all of which I still use daily, just with better aesthetics and fewer math tests.

Outside of work, I love to travel. The U.K. holds a special place for me, especially the slower moments, walking cities like London with no agenda, popping into museums, and letting the surroundings do the talking, while sipping afternoon tea. I’m equally grounded at home, where community matters deeply. I stay involved through my local Junior League chapter and support causes that give back in tangible ways.

I’m sarcastic in a dry way, fluent in pop culture, and unapologetically a product of the ’90s. I care about style, shoes, and a good reference; whether that’s Sex and the City, Beverly Hills 90210, or something unexpectedly clever that lands at just the right moment.

At the end of the day, I value connection. With my friends. With my clients. With the work itself. Everything else is secondary.

Fashionable Florist operates as a boutique atelier, collaborating with a trusted group of floral designers and creatives who share the same standards, work ethic, and attention to detail. These are collaborators I work with regularly, not rotating staff or last-minute hires.

While each project is supported by skilled hands, every design decision and final detail is led and overseen by me. The result is consistency, clarity, and work that feels cohesive from start to finish.
