I’m Heather, the founder and creative stylist behind Fashionable Florist. I’m design-driven, detail-minded, and deeply invested in doing things thoughtfully within intention, not shortcuts.

Before flowers became my full-time focus, I spent 17 years teaching fifth graders. That experience sharpened my ability to lead calmly, solve problems quickly, and guide people through complex moments, skills that now shape how I approach design, logistics, and client experience.

Outside the studio, travel is a constant source of inspiration. The U.K. holds a particular pull for me — walking cities like London without an agenda, spending time in museums, and letting the surroundings speak for themselves. At home, community matters just as much. I stay involved through my local Junior League chapter and support causes that create tangible, lasting impact.

I have a dry sense of humor, a strong point of view, and an appreciation for cultural references that land with precision — whether that’s a fashion moment, a television classic, or something unexpectedly clever at exactly the right time.

At the core of everything is connection — with clients, collaborators, and the work itself. That relationship is what shapes the experience from start to finish.

The Atelier

Fashionable Florist operates as a boutique atelier, collaborating with a trusted group of floral designers and creatives who share the same standards, work ethic, and attention to detail. These are collaborators I work with consistently, not rotating staff or last-minute additions.

While each project is supported by skilled hands, every design decision and final detail is led and overseen by me. This ensures continuity, clarity, and work that feels cohesive from first concept through instillation.
